Abstract
Boris Doktorov is known to Russian readers mainly for his historiography of domestic sociology. However his range of interests goes far beyond the life stories of Russian researchers: since 2008, he has been monitoring the U.S. presidential campaigns, and this year he keeps his Facebook blog devoted to the 2016 U.S. elections. On a daily basis he provided coverage of the results of public opinion polls and predictions of election outcomes. Boris says that his dream is a big book full of photos, graphics and diagrams under the working title «two hundred years of studying the American public opinion». As he estimated, only two election cycles are left to mark this anniversary in 2024. In this interview, we discuss the results of the 2016 American elections.Downloads
