Abstract

Based on the results of nationwide polls conducted by NAFI, VCIOM and FOM in September-November 2008, the article discusses the impact of the financial crisis that started in September 2008 on Russians` behavior. Particular attention is paid to the definition of social groups that suffered most from the crisis, what the crisis resulted in and what kind of response it had.
