Modern Economic Culture in Search of an Optimal Balance of Development: Reviewing the Materials of the XII International Sociological Grushin Conference

XII International Sociological Grushin Conference «Society in Search of Balance» was held on May 23—27, 2022 in Moscow. Generally, the conference discussion focused on the questions of balance, stability, and harmonization of social relations in all spheres of public life. Recent economic changes have led to several significant problems. This material reviews the discussion that took place at the section "Economic culture and economic behavior of the population on the eve of the super-crisis: how to get out of the rut?". It covered such issues as the national level of financial literacy; the relationship between economic behavior and living standards in Russia; the impact of the crisis caused by the pandemic on production sector and population employment; transformation of behavioral models and attitudes in the context of the digital economy; financial behavior of Russians. In general, the speakers of the section provided a detailed analysis of these topics, which allowed to analyze the modern economic environment, considering various aspects that resulted from the social "imbalance" noted by many experts.
