«И современно, и с отголосками прошлого»: ностальгия в проектах сохранения исторических деревянных домов

В статье анализируются проекты сохранения исторических деревянных домов и кварталов в российских городах. Авторы предлагают детализированный взгляд на такие инициативы, выходящий за рамки дихотомии между музеефикацией и коммерциализацией. В качестве аналитического инструмента используется понятие Т. Беннетта «рабочие поверхности социального», позволяющее проследить, как социальные и мемориальные аспекты городской жизни, связанной с деревянными домами, превращаются в культурные продукты, нацеленные на реализацию определенных политик: от воспитания «хорошего горожанина» до городского экономического развития или поддержания локального патриотизма.
Опираясь на различение ностальгии как настроения и ностальгии как режима, предложенное Х. Брембек и Н. Сёрумом, авторы показывают, как в процессах трансформации зданий вовлеченные акторы работают с их исторической и коммеморативной ценностью. На основе пяти кейсов и 35 интервью с различными акторами, задействованными в сохранении исторических домов в Нижнем Новгороде, Вологде и Тотьме, в работе показывается, как в разных контекстах происходят медиированные разными формами ностальгии «разборка» и «сборка» деревянного дома, в ходе которых не только физически трансформируются здания, но и переопределяются их функции, формируются задачи сохранения, стираются и возникают новые значения.
