Abstract

On the basis of regular measurements of public feelings of social well being in VCIOM surveys the author constructs six indexes and studies possibilities of forming "social bubbles" — overly optimistic expectations of the population of the future. He finds that by most part the public shows realistic assessments of the situation in the society.
