Abstract

Mikhail Bokov analyses what the Russian public expects from the newly elected President of the country. He structures these expectations by various ideological and political groups in the society/ and also compares the general public views with the expectations of the elite. He comes to the conclusion that the combining demand is to develop strong, socially oriented and economically successful state.
