Abstract

The aim of the study is to trace the impact of today’s social processes on the origin of global economic crisis, on the disruption of the existing institutional system. Pandemic undermines the pillars of daily life and acts as an accelerator of aggravating social antagonisms. An important factor of the institutional system destruction is an explosion of ideologically inflated ‘bubbles of trust’, erosion of its legitimacy. This results from a break-up of a system of social status based on competencies and achievements, as well as from disintegration of values and interests. A regulative role of interests under reflexion is down, whereas the impact of emotions and social affect is up. Overcoming the crisis requires a theoretical conceptualization and a formation of a subject associated with the responsible class.
