Formation of the united student group: conditions and factors

The author considers the specifics of the formation of the united student group; the university environment as a factor triggering this process is analyzed. A special attention is paid to the conditions and factors that help formatting united students` groups, as well as the role of the group heads and curators. The empirical basis is a study conducted in February and April 2014 in the Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology (opinion poll among 354 students). The author concludes that the group cohesion makes the education process more effective, helps building teamwork skills, responsibility, an ability to be a leader, and the general culture of the future graduate. United group helps students morally, cultivates collectivity and assists in challenging situations.Downloads
