Public opinion as a tool in system diagnostics of the problem areas

The article describes the results of the public moods study conducted in the republics of the Northern Caucasus in 2013. The data obtained during the survey was compared with the data of the studies carried out in the region in 2010-2012. To reveal the cause and effect relationship the author uses the statistical social and economic data. The technique applied in the study is unique and valid; the indicators` system was tested during the monitoring in Ingushetia in 2012. According to the key results of the study, the statistical portraits of six republics (Dagestan, Ingushetia, North Ossetia -Alania, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, and Chechen republic) were described; the basic conclusions were drawn based on the statistical and sociological data.Downloads
