The article presents a full Russian-language overview of the contact theory and outlines challenges that made G. Allport develop his theory in 1954. The key studies and findings related to this theory are described by the author. The article also touches upon the fundamental questions raised by this theory in sixteen years, as well as answers to them.Downloads
